I have used 15 x 100g balls of stylecraft special dk worked on a 4mm hook to make my cosy stripe blanket.
As previously mentioned i decided to do the borders on this a little different to the way lucy did hers.
Now pink and red completed see here cosy stripe blanket part 2 the size and hook.
All you need to think about is the quantity it takes roughly 15 x 100g balls to make a single bed size blanket and twice as many to make a full king size bed blanket.
She had 4 rows to her border in different stitches where i decided to only do 3 borders and only.
